It's almost vacation time! Me and Carol are doing Disney again, and then I'm spending a few days in Nanaimo with Carol. I'm going on a shopping spree @ Value Village (& stores in the mall) to get skinny clothes (and inbetween ones, too). I'm also going to get my hair done again (cut, dyed, permed). I can't WAIT!!! I leave here on the 20th, go to cali on the 21, in disney from 22-27 minus one day for knotts berry farm, go to nanaimo on the 28 and finally back home on the 6.

Also, I changed my LJ layout, and am working on a custom mood theme too :D What do you think?

The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really, we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. So, Dwaine doesn't have brain cancer, but they're pretty sure his lung cancer is back :(

The "lesions" in his brain were just from his bleed years ago in his accident; apparantly the dr. didn't COMPARE!!!

But he has a golf-ball sized something in his lung and they're not sure what it is. 51% chance it's cancer again. They're going to have to do a scope to find out...3 more weeks of waiting (or so)

I've been reading up on no-poo and i'm thinking of switching over. Has anyone else tried it? (some useful info: http://babyslime.livejournal.com/174054.html and http://community.livejournal.com/no_poo/ )

So the past few days I've been purusing craft blogs online and have come with OODLES of cool stuff to do :) The only thing, now, is to find the time to do it.

Not that I don't have the time, but I just tend to waste my time ;)

Well...I'm kind of off of audit. I work from 5-1:30 (normally it'd be 2:30-11 or 3-11:30) to start the audit for Jacques and be there if he needs any help initially. This week I'm pretty much 'coddling' him (counting all the tills, sorting all the front desk, counting all the meal vouchers, doing his gift shop & banquets) so all he has to focus on, really, is the restaurant tab (which is the most troublesome b/c it always has mistakes.

After about a month of this, I'll be doing James' audit shifts (so i'll have 3 days desk, 2 days audit) to give James a treat after working so hard for that first week 1/2 that Jacques was out. And after that? Probably 5 days audit for a month to month-and-a-half b/c Jacques is probably going to have to go have his arteries cleaned (the rototiller, as he calls it lol!)

And: they gypped me out of my pay!!!! On audit I get paid $14 an hour, on desk it's $12. My first week of audit, they gave me $12. It works out to a difference of only $77 but that's $77!!!

Didn't do so well at the market last week, but the weather sucked to boot. So! This week should be awesome, by rights.

Well...what an unexpected turn of events. Due to medical reasons, our current full-time auditor is unable to work...leaving our old full-time, now part-time, doing all the audits -- except he has another job within the hotel AND one outside of it too!! So....long story short: I am the new full-time auditor (for a few weeks, at least).
